Authenticator codes in LoginScout: TOTP next to the login
LoginScout MFA is for secrets you import. It is not Google Authenticator as a downloadable mobile OS app, and it will not log you into Steam by itself.
How to move authenticator codes into LoginScout

Export or photograph secrets you still need
Codes stop working the moment the old authenticator is wiped. The checklist post walks through this.

Import into LoginScout MFA
Paste otpauth URIs or use a JSON export. Name each entry so search works.
Step 3
Match codes, then retire the old app
One source of truth beats two half-updated lists.
Why keep TOTP in the vault
The code sits on the same card
You are not hunting a second app named something you forgot while the login is in a spreadsheet.
Import, then verify
Paste otpauth:// URIs or import JSON. Confirm the 6-digit code matches the old app before you delete anything.
Recovery codes still matter
Keep printed or offline backup codes from the original service. TOTP apps fail; recovery codes are the spare key.
Not a replacement for platform 2FA setup
You still enable 2FA on Epic, Steam, Microsoft, or Roblox using their official settings. LoginScout stores the secret you already created.

- Can I import from Google Authenticator?
- If you can export otpauth URIs or a compatible JSON backup from your current app, you can paste them in. We do not publish a guaranteed one-click importer for every vendor’s proprietary format.
- Does this work offline on a phone?
- LoginScout is a web app. Use it when you can open the vault. It is not marketed as an iOS/Android store authenticator with offline OS widgets.
