When temp mail is a good idea
Temp mail is great for a free trial, a newsletter gate, a one-off download, or a game you only want to try. It keeps spam out of your real inbox and your main address out of another company’s database.
It is the wrong tool for an account you will keep. If you lose the inbox, you lose password resets. For your main Steam, Epic, Riot, or Rockstar login, use a real email and save it in a LoginScout vault.

- Is this temp mail really free?
- Yes. You get one free inbox per day with no signup. It receives email for 15 minutes and shows the first message in full. Premium removes every limit.
- Why can I only read the first email?
- The free inbox is a sample for quick verification codes. Later emails still arrive, but they stay locked until you upgrade, so you can see who sent them.
- Can I keep my free temp email address?
- Yes, with Premium. Press “Keep email permanent”, upgrade, and the address moves into your vault with its mail. You have 24 hours after it expires to do this.
- Can I send email from the free inbox?
- No. Free inboxes are receive-only. Premium inboxes can send and reply.
- Should I use temp mail for my main game account?
- No. Use a real inbox you will keep for accounts you care about, like your Epic, Steam, or Rockstar login. Temp mail is for low-stakes signups.
