Delete your LoginScout account
LoginScout, by Raja Huzaifah Mansoor. You can delete your LoginScout account and its data at any time. This page explains how, what we delete, and what we keep.
Delete it yourself
This works on the website and in the Android app. Deletion happens right away.
- Sign in at loginscout.com/login. Any browser works, so you do not need the app.
- Open Settings, then the Vault data tab.
- Press Delete account.
- Type DELETE. If you sign in with a PIN, enter your PIN too.
- Press Delete account again to finish.
Want a copy of your logins first? Use Download backup in the same window, or Export in Settings, before you delete.
Can't sign in, or forgot your PIN?
Email [email protected]. If you sign in with Google or another provider, send it from that email address. For username + PIN accounts, include your username, and we may ask a few questions to check it is yours before we delete it. We reply and finish within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your encrypted vault: every saved login, card note, recovery detail, and your profile
- Your sign-in record, including the PIN check and, if you use Google or another sign-in provider, the vault key we keep for you
- Failed PIN attempt counters linked to your username
- Your plan, billing status, and usage counts
- Your support tickets, their messages, and any files you attached
- Your LoginScout temp inboxes, the mail in them, and mail you sent from them
- Your burner number orders, number credits, and monthly quota
- Any private phone number (we give it back to the carrier), with its texts, calls, and usage
- Your referral code, referrals, and rewards
- Your welcome email record, email opt-out record, and where you signed up from
If you pay for Premium, the subscription is cancelled right away when you delete. Unused time is not refunded.
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment records. Stripe keeps your payment and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. We cannot delete those.
- Support emails. If you emailed us, those emails stay in our mailbox.
- Logs and security records. Our hosting keeps short-lived server logs. To stop PIN guessing we also keep failed sign-in counters by IP address only (a count and a time). They reset after 24 quiet hours.
- Bug-report recordings (website only). They stay until LogRocket deletes them at the end of its retention period.
- Things on your device. 2FA codes and quick notes are saved only on the device where you added them, never on our servers. Deleting your account on a device clears them from that device. On any other device, the saved encrypted vault, 2FA codes and quick notes stay until you clear the app's or browser's site data.
