Guerrilla Mail and Temp-Mail.org are useful when you need a throwaway address for one download you will never see again. They are a weak recovery plan for a Steam, Epic, or Discord user you might reopen next season. LoginScout Premium keeps a private inbox on the same library card as the password.
Official sites: Guerrilla Mail· Temp-Mail.org
| Topic | LoginScout | public temp-mail |
|---|---|---|
| Primary job | Private vault for logins you own; Premium can issue a disposable inbox beside the card | Public disposable inbox for one-off messages (confirm current behavior on their sites) |
| Who can open the inbox | Tied to your LoginScout vault, not listed on a public homepage | Public dumps are typically guessable or listed. Anyone with the address can often read it. |
| Longevity / recovery | You still have to keep the vault. The point is the address is stored with the login so you can find it later. | Short-lived public inboxes forget you. Fine for a one-time file; a poor Steam Guard reset plan months later. |
| Issued mailbox on Free | No. Free stores the recovery email you type on the card. Issued LoginScout inboxes are Premium. | Public sites are usually free in the sense of a shared dump — not a private vault mailbox. |
| Burner SMS | Premium, via 5sim, monthly quota | Not LoginScout’s 5sim flow. Public receive-SMS sites have the same “anyone can read it” problem. |
| Pricing | Free forever at 5 accounts; Premium $4.99/mo or $49/year as shown on /pricing | Not listed here. Open their official sites. We do not invent their ads, limits, or paid tiers. |
Guerrilla Mail and Temp-Mail.org (and similar 10-minute inboxes) solve spam by giving anyone an address. That is the feature and the bug: the inbox is not yours in the way a vault is yours. Confirm how those sites work today on their homepages — we will not invent their retention timers.
LoginScout Premium issues an address for your vault so the verify link for a game you created is next to that login. It is not anonymous to LoginScout, it is not unlimited, and Terms already says third-party mail is not guaranteed.
This page is not a second “disposable email” product URL. The product landing is /temporary-email. The how-to is /guides/temp-email-for-game-signups. This comparison is only “public dump vs vault-bound inbox.”
The first verification email is easy. The failure mode is months later: the public inbox is gone, the launcher wants a reset, and you cannot prove which Epic user used which throwaway.
A vault does not make a public dump last longer. It makes the address you used searchable. If you stay on Free, paste the public address onto the card. If you want LoginScout to host the mailbox, that is Premium.
Keepers should still move recovery to a real inbox the launcher allows while they still can. Roblox and some stores block disposable domains.
Do not use a random public temp-mail site and never write down which one. Do not mix five alts into one note titled “games.” Do not use throwaway mail for money, identity, or the one Roblox user with Robux.
LoginScout is for accounts you own. A private inbox will not make a bought login yours.
Use a public dump when the message does not matter and you will never need a password reset. Use LoginScout Premium when the inbox is part of an account you own and you want it sitting next to the password instead of in another tab.
Free LoginScout is still useful with public temp-mail: save the address on the card so you do not lose it. Upgrading is what issues a LoginScout mailbox. Do not use either tool to attack other people, bypass bans on accounts you do not own, or stuff generated accounts.
