Why disposable inboxes belong next to your password vault

Throwaway inboxes used to live in a separate tab farm. That friction is why people reuse personal email for every launch title.

Keeping temp mail beside the vault means the verification code and the saved password share the same workspace.

Use a fresh address for launches you do not trust yet. Promote the inbox to “kept” only when the account is worth keeping long-term.

Still use your real email for banks, stores, and anything tied to identity. Disposable mail is for curiosity, not payroll.

Public dumps such as Guerrilla Mail or Temp-Mail.org are fine for a file you will never see again. They are a weak Steam Guard reset plan months later. LoginScout Premium issues a private inbox tied to the vault; Free still lets you paste whichever address you used onto the card.

Launchers can still block disposable domains. If the verify message never arrives, switch to a real inbox while you still can, and keep the vault card so you remember which address the account used.
