ARK Survival Evolved
ARK: Survival Evolved does not ship a separate “ARK username” the way Fortnite uses Epic. You create a Steam, Epic, Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo account, install Evolved, then join a server. LoginScout is for keeping that platform login — not for buying tribes.
Step 1
Most PC players use Steam. Evolved also exists on Epic and on consoles. Cross-play and server lists differ by platform — create the account where your friends already are.
Step 2
On PC, register at Steam or Epic with an email, password, and date of birth that meets that store’s rules (typically 13+). On console, use Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo. That identity is your ARK Survival Evolved account.
Step 3
Confirm the store email. Turn on Steam Guard, Epic 2FA, or console two-step verification. Save backup codes in LoginScout so a lost phone is not a wiped tribe.
Step 4
Buy or install Survival Evolved (the original). ARK: Survival Ascended is the Unreal 5 remake with its own purchase and servers. Mods, maps, and unofficial lists do not carry over just because the logo looks similar.
Step 5
Your in-game character is not a second website account. Official, official-player, and unofficial servers each have rules. Copy any server password or whitelist note into the vault card for this login.
Step 6
Store Steam/Epic/console email, password, 2FA, and which ARK you installed. Add a line for the cluster name if you play unofficial. Optional temp mail or a burner number only help if the store still accepts them.
Wildcard does not hand you a unique Evolved ID at signup. Lose the store login and you lose the game library, cloud saves where they exist, and server access that was tied to that ID.
Unofficial servers often have a join password, Discord whitelist, or cluster rules. Put those notes on the same vault card as Steam so the tribe is still findable.
If you are creating a Steam or Epic ID you do not want on your real inbox, a disposable address can receive the verify message. Do not use that as an excuse to trade accounts.
LoginScout does not generate, buy, or sell Evolved or Ascended accounts, bred dinos, or official-server tribes. You play on an account you created.
People search “how to make an account on ark survival evolved” because every other live game trained them to expect a studio website signup. For Evolved, Studio Wildcard ships the game through Steam, Epic, and consoles. You make that platform account, then ARK uses it.
A survivor slot, a tribe name, and a Nitrado or unofficial server password are extra pieces — not a replacement for Steam Guard. If someone is selling you an “ARK account,” they are selling a platform login they probably do not own.
Survival of the Fittest and mobile spin-offs are different products with different stores. This page is the original ARK: Survival Evolved.
ARK: Survival Evolved is the 2017 (and earlier Early Access) game with the huge workshop mod scene. ARK: Survival Ascended is the newer remake. An Evolved account on Steam does not unlock Ascended. Install the title your server list actually runs.
ARK is generally rated Teen. Steam, Epic, and consoles still enforce their own age gates. Do not fake a birthday, and do not use a burner identity to put a child on an M-rated unofficial server.
Unofficial servers can add their own Discord verification. That is still not an excuse to share Steam logins. Share an invite link, not the password.
The login you will forget in six months is the Steam email plus whichever 2FA device you used plus the unofficial cluster password someone dropped in Discord. That is why a gaming password manager exists.
LoginScout can sit next to that: encrypted account storage, optional temporary email for a new Steam ID you own, optional burner SMS if the store demands a phone. It will not generate ARK accounts or restore a banned official survivor.
If you play both Evolved and Ascended, two cards (or one card with a clear note) beat a single untitled “ark” row.
Create a free vault, then add temp mail and burner numbers when the library grows.
