    Verify email and turn on 2-factor authentication

    Enable Activision 2FA in account security. Save the backup codes the moment they appear.

    Link Battle.net, Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox

    In Linked Accounts, connect every platform you play on. Cross-progression only works when they point to the same Activision ID.

    Add a phone number if asked

    Some modes require SMS verification. Use a number you will keep — this is not the account for a throwaway number.
