How to make a League of Legends account and save it

  1. Step 1

    Sign up at leagueoflegends.com

    Use a lasting email, your date of birth, and a unique password. If you play Valorant, sign in with that Riot account instead.

  2. Step 2

    Choose your Riot ID and region

    Pick the region where you and your friends play. Moving regions later is a paid transfer, so note it on your card.

  3. Step 3

    Verify email and enable multi-factor sign-in

    Confirm the email, then turn on Riot’s sign-in verification in account settings.

  4. Step 4

    Install the Riot Client and Vanguard

    League on PC now uses Riot Vanguard anti-cheat. Download only from Riot and restart when asked.

  5. Step 5
