A hacked Discord account usually starts spamming friends with “try my game” or free Nitro links within minutes. Move fast: stop the spread, get back in, then lock the account.
How to recover a hacked Discord account
Step 1
Reset your password right away
Use “Forgot your password?” on the Discord login page. Changing the password also signs out other sessions.
Step 2
Contact Discord support if the email changed
Submit a request at support.discord.com, choosing the hacked-account option, with your username and original email.
Step 3
Warn your friends
Tell friends and servers your account was compromised so nobody clicks the links it sent.
Step 4
Remove unknown authorized apps and devices
In User Settings, check Authorized Apps and Devices. Remove anything you do not recognize.
Step 5
Turn on 2FA and save backup codes
Enable an authenticator app, then store the backup codes in LoginScout.
